It would give convenience to people. However it would make people become more lazy because they did not need to move a lot.

is this suitable for all types or brands of the laptop?i see this icup only have symbol apple.Thus is it mean just for apple branded.
does it get affected to the radioactive because it's using the power from the laptop, right? i think it's a little bit dangerous when it comes to this part... i don't i would be buying this eventhough it's quite convenient...
Syafiqah is right. It's dangerous to laptop. icup also not good for younger people because they will spend more time to chat or play games. They no need to move to make coffee and become enjoyable. Less their time for study or no time to study at all.
in my opinion, Icup is another awesome invention by apple to make their users life easier and more convenient. as in America, people are always going to work with a cup of coffee in their hand every morning. so by having an Icup, they won't have to face anymore problems on coming to work late all the time due to the long cue at Starbucks, for example. i think it can be used for other laptops too because the USB cable can be used to be plugged in any USB port, just like Apple Ipod. not everybody owns a MacBook, but people still use Ipod (:
