Health care technology – Vitals Monitoring System

The idea was found by Dan Bishop as a solution to hospitals which are lack of medical staff. Medical staff would be able to monitor their patients without to be in the same room or location using this Vital Monitoring System. Besides, it would allow doctor to monitor more patients than usual. This portable device is convenient to be used as it can be strapped on the patient's wrist. In addition, it is designed to check the body temperature, the pulse rate and the blood pressure. Then, the data could be transferred wirelessly to a digital chart for later review and access.

I don't think it will be effective enough except if the doctors are treating robots as their patients. Psychologically, human being need more attention, human touch as a motivation when they are not well.

Yeah, saving cost by using this kind of gadget is more important in this era instead of hiring more doctors. Then, we could see the lost of humanity and feelings of being taken care in this world.

can we use this system outside the area of hospital? i meant we want to use it at home as an emergency like a first-aid due to it's small size.

I think it is not suitable for a chronic disease..

actually guys this gadget is to monitor our health, not to cure any diseases... by using this gadget, the doctor doesn't have to wait for any results because this gadget can simply knows what's happening to the body temperature, the pulse rate and the blood pressure therefore the doctor doesn't have to waste any time by checking the patient. for example if our heart is beating at an abnormal rate, therefore the doctor could simply look at the gadget.
